Product Information
“Héloïse and Abelard” was originally painted on canvas circa 1837 by Charles Durupt. It depicts a moment in the love affair between a theologian and philosopher, Peter Abelard, and his student, Heloise d’Argenteuil, which scandalized and challenged Parisian society like never before. This reproduction of the artwork is provided on canvas to intensify the image's look and feel.
